Travel through time
In an introductory show with light effects, you travel into the shadows of the past in search of the remarkable story of Eindhoven and its surroundings.
You journey through 10,000 years of history, from the first hunter-gatherers in the region to the rise of the Brainport area, and discover the secret ingredient: the power of working and living together.
Cabinet of Insight
In our museum collection presentation, you relive the time journey once more. From ancient times to the present, the objects tell stories of collaboration between people, but also between people and landscape, and between people and technology.
You end the exhibition with an interactive light installation, where you bring the past to life yourself.
Workshop of Imagination
In our Workshop of Imagination, we invite you to collaborate on extraordinary structures (sparks). These interactive installations bring remarkable stories from the past to life.
The workshop is divided into three zones. Each zone focuses on a different stage in the development of a spark.
Zone 1: contributing ideas for a new theme
Zone 2: observing how mbo students and volunteers build
Zone 3: roll up your sleeves and help build it yourself
World of Experience
In the World of Experience, you experience history up close. You meet historical inhabitants from prehistory to the late Middle Ages and see how they lived and worked. Get to know ancient crafts and take part in historical activities. Discover the past as it truly once was.
Garden of Wonder
Walk along different “sparks,” each telling its own story. Every spark represents an important theme from regional history. Here, you can take part as well! Activate the sparks and bring history to life.
