Which personal data do we process and why?

The data we process depends on the purpose for which we use it. We distinguish between bookings, reservations and ticket sales, (digital) marketing and business operations.

Bookings, reservations and ticket sales

If you purchase a ticket digitally, book an arrangement or use another service provided by us, we need personal data to process this. In general, we use contact details and, where necessary, financial information, for example when preparing quotations.

For tickets and bookings, an email address is required so that we can send the tickets to you.

Processing digital data

General visitor data is collected anonymously on our website. We use this information to analyse browsing and purchasing behaviour and to continuously improve our website and work processes.

You can subscribe to our newsletter. For this, we need your name and email address. You can unsubscribe from the newsletter just as easily at any time.

We regularly conduct satisfaction surveys. For these surveys, we only need your email address.

We use various social media channels. Through these channels, you can contact us, ask questions and participate in competitions. In these cases, the privacy terms of the relevant platform apply.

For Facebook, we use an API to help ensure, among other things, that you do not repeatedly see the same advertisement.

Business operations

If you apply for a job with us, become an employee or volunteer for us, we process the data necessary for this purpose and/or required by law, such as a copy of your identity document, a certificate of good conduct (VOG), address details and, where applicable, financial information. From suppliers and partners, we only process data when necessary. In most cases, this concerns business contact details and financial information.

How long do we keep your data?

Privacy legislation states that data may only be stored for as long as it is needed for the purpose for which it is used. Certain data is subject to a legal retention period. This mainly applies to data processed for personnel administration. VONK complies with legal retention periods where applicable and does not retain personal data longer than strictly necessary.

We take appropriate measures to prevent misuse, loss, unauthorised access and other unwanted actions involving personal data. These measures are included in our policies.

Processing by third parties

VONK uses third-party services for its information provision, such as cloud services and SaaS solutions. We carefully select these processors. With all our processors, we have concluded a data processing agreement in accordance with applicable legislation, which includes agreements on information security.
