Educational school camp
Looking for a unique school camp?
At VONK, students experience history up close during a two- or three-day school camp. By staying overnight in a historic village, they experience everyday life in prehistory or the Middle Ages. This brings history from the textbook to life.
Visit VONK with your class
Would you prefer to explore the museum park with your class on your own? You can. Even without an educational programme, there is plenty to discover.
With a route booklet full of assignments and activities, you take students on a journey through time. Along the way, they get to try different experiences: paddling a dugout canoe, spear throwing, making fire. Some activities are guided by a historical inhabitant. Will you give your class an active journey of discovery through the past?

Did you know that schools can also visit VONK on Mondays?
While the museum is closed to regular visitors, educational programmes and independent school visits are still available. This means more peace, more space, and full attention for your group.
