Writing with a quill
In medieval times, people used quills to write. Dipping it in ink, it sucks up ink, allowing you to write with it.
Take a card, dip the point of the quill into the jar of ink and try to write something. It may be a bit tricky at first, but if you practice, you'll see it gets better.
