The Eindhoven Museum Foundation aims to:

Operate one or more museums and promote awareness of the cultural history and heritage of the city and region of Eindhoven to a wide audience
Organise educational and public activities about heritage and cultural history
Manage and preserve a museum collection
Exhibit objects from the museum collection
Conduct historical research

The foundation serves the public interest through the realisation of its objectives. It does not aim to make a profit.

Supervisory Board and management

Since January 2021, Eindhoven Museum has operated as a foundation with a Supervisory Board and a director-general. Its statutes and regulations are guided by the principles of the Cultural Governance Code. The Supervisory Board of the Eindhoven Museum Foundation consists of the following members:

The management is formed by director-general Ward Rennen.

Remuneration policy and WNT reporting

The chosen governance structure strengthens the independence of the Supervisory Board and underlines the separation of responsibilities between the director-general and the Board of Supervisors. These are formally defined in the statutes. The remuneration of the director-general complies with WNT standards and can be found in the WNT reporting. This report also includes the compensation of Supervisory Board members for expenses and their work for the museum.

Eindhoven Museum applies the Dagrecreatie collective labour agreement, which is linked to the remuneration system of the Recreation sector agreement.
