Archery

Experience what it's like to shoot with a bow and arrow. Practice your technique and see if you can hit the bullseye.

You can join in every day during the scheduled sessions. One of our historical inhabitants will explain the basics and help you get started, so you can take part safely. See the sign at the archery range for the times when this activity is available.

Archery only takes place in dry weather to keep the equipment in good condition. You can find the archery range at location 4.1 on the museum map.

In exceptional weather conditions, the museum park programme may be adjusted. Please check the latest information in the museum park during your visit.
